  • Overview

    FutureCare is looking for a high energy nurse leader to join our team as a Regional Clinical Services Manager.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of consistently achieving outstanding quality outcomes in the skilled nursing environment.  The leader we are looking for will have the ability to work with multiple facilities, lead initiatives and help develop other nurse leaders capable of achieving clinical excellence.  In this position you will provide regular support to approximately 3-5 centers located in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. corridor.  You will be responsible for upholding Futurecare’s values, policies and procedures as well as implementing and maintaining systems that assist our centers in providing an optimal level of care and achieving industry leading metrics in clinical care, patient satisfaction and regulatory outcomes.   


    1. Provides at least weekly on-site direction and support with clinical, managerial, educational and clinically related financial issues for selected facilities.
    2. Generates reports with each visit that summarizes activities, identified follow-up expectations for the facility and directs objectives for the next visit. Is responsible for the distribution of these reports to the appropriate persons within FutureCare.
    3. Ensures clinical practice in the facility complies with FutureCare standards and all regulatory requirements. Monitors the implementation of and compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
    4. Facilitates effective problem identification when there are variances from expected standards. Is responsible for the development and implementation of action plans to correct identified problems.
    5. Utilizes available data, including Quality Measures, to identify potential problems within the facility. Assists facility staff to utilize the same data to manage and continually improve clinical functions in the facility.
    6. Implements a Directed Action plan when serious clinical issues are identified or for deficiencies at a “G” level or higher.



    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland*
    • Master’s Degree Preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree Required
    • Experienced in Long-Term Care
    • Multi-site experience preferred
    • Demonstrates leadership abilities including effective communication, a change agent, problem solving skills and organizational and management skills.
