 ***Competitive Salary*** 7pm-7am Every Other Weekends

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibilities include supervision of all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift
  • Duties involve assessing staffing and resident needs and directing care  
  • Works predominately with an adult geriatric population
  • Serves as role model for staff through provision of safe, effective and efficient nursing care.  Supervises clinical aspects of nursing.
  • Manages day to day operations of Nursing Department
  • Interfaces with others to insure efficient unit operations.   
  • Seeks opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred
  • 1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus
  • Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
  • Must possess a current CPR license
