Overview

At FutureCare, our Admissions Assistants manage the administrative details that are part of coordinating admissions into our facility to ensure a smooth transition for our residents.  Under the direction of the Admissions Director, they will complete all clerical documents for admission to include contracts, arbitration agreements and other required paperwork.

***Salary Range $16.74-$25.12/HR***

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct facility tours
  • Check empty room for admission readiness
  • Assist Admissions Director with all pre-admission paperwork
  • Abides by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan
  • Assist the Admissions Director with daily and monthly reports as assigned and required

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently, as well as a part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate appropriately to families, residents, physicians, and referral sources
