Overview

At FutureCare our Executive Director of Nursing/Nursing Home Administrator serves a vital role as both a leader and team builder while planning and overseeing the Skilled Nursing operations, leading an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and professionals that deliver quality care and support to our residents. As the Executive Director of Nursing, you would lead a our highly rated skilled nursing program deliver superior heath care service.

Annual Salary Range - $170,000-$190,000

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day operations of FutureCare Health Center in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
  • Assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to residents at all times.
  • As Director, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties
  • Adopt and implement innovative practices to improve care and operations
  • Ensure that nursing staff remains in compliance with professional development and regulatory standards
  • Monitor and manage labor and expense controls.
  • Ensure monthly financial goals and targets are met
  • Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment
  • Assure the highest level of customer services is delivered to our residents, families and team members

Qualifications

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in the state of Maryland 
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or a related field
  • Masters’ degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 3+ years' Administrator experience with Skilled Nursing
  • A strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way
  • Superb organizational management, budget, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
