FutureCare is excited to open our second location in Anne Arundel County, FutureCare Annapolis. We are looking to hire a group of outstanding leaders to help build the team that will operate this new location.   The facility is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade project with a goal of opening for business in late spring of 2025.  FutureCare Annapolis will be licensed as a 154-bed skilled nursing facility serving the post-acute and long-term care needs of the community.  FutureCare, voted by our employees as a Top Workplace for 13 years in a row, is an experienced and stable provider serving Maryland for over 36 years.  Our goal is to establish our new facility as a premier provider in Anne Arundel County.

FutureCare Annapolis is situated in the suburban Annapolis area near a development called Heritage Harbor which is just a few minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland and has easy access to major travel arteries.  The center will provide ample parking, attractive common areas, and an expansive rehabilitation gym and suite.  Patient rooms are spacious with high ceilings. • Ensure there are systems in place to facilitate the effective and efficient day to day operation of the Department of Nursing
• Responsible for utilizing the performance improvement process to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Nursing Department
• Monitor clinical data to ensure the facility is meeting the clinical needs of each resident and the clinical goals of the facility
• Initiate appropriate and timely problem identification and problem solving in response to changes in clinical data
• Routinely monitors census, resident acuity and staffing levels to ensure effective and efficient staffing patterns are in place
• In the absence of the Administrator is responsible for oversight of the facility operations
• Ensure there are systems in place to facilitate timely and effective clinical decision making regarding admission of new residents to the facility
• Participate in the monitoring of patient referrals and actual admissions identifying potential barriers to admissions and recommends solutions to accommodate additional types of patients

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current Maryland RN licensure
• Progressive management experience in a skilled nursing facility highly recommended
