We are looking to hire a group of outstanding Geretriac Nursing Assistants who are committed to providing a compassionate hands on approach to deliver the highest standards of quality, and who wear a badge of courage while supporting and caring for our residents. The facility is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade project with a goal of opening for business in late spring of 2025.  FutureCare Annapolis will be licensed as a 154-bed skilled nursing facility serving the post-acute and long-term care needs of the community.  FutureCare, voted by our employees as a Top Workplace for 13 years in a row, is an experienced and stable provider serving Maryland for over 36 years.  Our goal is to establish our new facility as a premier provider in Anne Arundel County.

FutureCare Annapolis is situated in the suburban Annapolis area near a development called Heritage Harbor which is just a few minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland and has easy access to major travel arteries.  The center will provide ample parking, attractive common areas, and an expansive rehabilitation gym and suite.  Patient rooms are spacious with high ceilings. When the renovations are complete the center will be stunning.

• Assist nursing staff with completion of resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs
• Perform vital signs on residents at beginning of each shift and as directed
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in resident’s behavior, emotional state, or physical condition
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Assist in transporting residents as needed
• Provide companionship to residents
• Ensure the safety of our residents
• Assist with motivating residents to help keep them active and engaged
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

• Must hold a current certification and GNA license in Maryland
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Previous experience working in an skilled nursing facility is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with residents
• Ability to listen attentively is essential
• Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
• A willingness to navigate changes in assignments
• Ability to show empathy and compassion while interacting with residents to increase their comfort level
