Overview

At FutureCare the Corporate Accounting Manager oversees the financial and accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effienciency in financial reporting and processess. Under the direction of the Controller, the Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for FutureCare’s audited year-end financial statements along with quarterly/annual regulatory filings and will provide supervision with various projects for the Finance department relating to budgetary analysis and business improvement initiatives.

Salary Disclosure Statement

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential pay range for this role and bonuses or other incentives  (if applicable), are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP)
  • Create, monitor and manage budgets for all departments
  • Advise senior management on financial matters and offer insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and decision making
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices
  • Support year-end financial statement reporting, internal and external audit assistance, and review

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 7+ years experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license a plus
  • Proficient in microsoft office, accounting sotware and other relevant technoligies
  • Previous experience working in a health care accounting environment highly preferred
  • Must posess strong leadership skills to motivate and provide sound guidance
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and relevant regulationsfinancial software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing packages to include Microsoft Office
  • Effective communicator with team members, senior management and other departments
