Overview

At FutureCare our Vendor Liaison Medicaid Support provides essential administrative and operational support to the Medicaid Accounts Receivable (AR) Team.  This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate processing of resident information, coordinating with facility vendors, and assisting with billing-related tasks.

***Competitive Pay $19.00 - 22.50/hr***
Salary Disclosure Statement
The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare care cost checks for the VP of Finance review and endorsement
  • Prepare Maryland Medicaid monthly billing worksheets
  • Post Private pay ancillary charges accurately
  • Generate and mail private pay statements
  • Manage interoffice correspondence and mail distribution
  • Scan bi-monthly “no pay” Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
  • Prepare checks for deposit into designated accounts
  • Code invoices by payor for charge entry and Accounts Payable processing
  • Distribute invoice copies to appropriate Billing Specialists for charge entry
  • Serve as liaison with facility vendors to provide resident demographic and payor information
  • Generate weekly insurance list for internal use
  • Prepare and send reports to pharmacy coordinators for facility visits
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience in healthcare or billing environments preferred
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with venders, management, and staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
