As a member of the facility management team, the Director of Nutrition Services plans, organizes and directs the delivery of proper nutrition and other food services throughout the facility. This position assumes a primary role in ensuring safe, appetizing and high quality nutrition for each and every resident
1. Formal training (college degree preferred) in Culinary Arts or related fields. 2. Be certified as a Dietary Manager or currently enrolled in a recognized certification course with certification being granted within 18 months of hire date. 3. Be certified by the Maryland State approved sanitation program. 4. Must have at least two (2) years of food service management experience in the health care industry. 5. Must have good management and communication skills.
