Overview

Act as the assistant to the Admissions Director and fill in when needed.

The work week is from Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following tasks and assignments as assigned by the facility admissions director:

 

 

I.          Pre-Admission Procedure:

A. Will conduct facility tours

B. Check empty room for admission readiness.

C. Assist Admissions Director with all pre admission paperwork.

 

 

II.        Admission Procedure:

  1. Assist the Admissions Director with coordinating admission with all parties, i.e. referring hospital, family, and facility departments to ensure a smooth transition for a resident.
  2. Assist the Admissions Director with completing all necessary documents for admission to include the contract, arbitration agreement, AOB, MSP, and other admission paperwork as deemed appropriate.

 

 

III.       General Administrative:

  1. Abides by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.
  2. Assist the Admissions Director with daily and monthly reports as assigned and required.

 

 

 

Qualifications

1. High school diploma. 2. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 3. Excellent organizational skills. 4. The ability to work independently, as well as a part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. 5. Excellent interpersonal skills to relate appropriately to families, residents, physicians, and referral sources.
