Corporate Payroll Coordinator

This position is a specialty accounting position, with the primary purpose of assisting with the coordination, processing and completion of payroll.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following tasks and assignments:


  • Acts as a liaison to staff, administrator and employees by answering questions and researching various requests as received.
  • Assigned number of facilities subject to change at any time.
  • Enter and update files in the payroll system including new hires, terms, benefits, direct deposit, tax withholdings, etc.
  • Maintains time clock information and coordinates with Human Resource Director on discrepancies.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll according to the payroll schedule including but not limited to the following:
  1. Exporting of time and attendance hours to ADP
  2. Run Salaried employees for audit
  3. Entering of Pay Data Grids
  4. Import deduction grids
  5. Manual check reports
  6. Active/Leave/Term reports
  7. Review of bonuses being paid


Qualifications for this position include a minimum of two years experience in payroll.  College degree preferred but no required.  Must be detailed oriented, able to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees and meet deadlines while working in a demanding, fast paced environment. Familiarity with Personal Computers and software such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.   Experience with time clock and payroll systems such as ADP and Smartlinx is preferred.
